A fabulous evening of folk dancing with Spring Loaded to be held at Parkside Hall. The whole point of a ceilidh is that everyone should be able to join in, irrespective of experience, age and fitness with young and old dancing together. Most ceilidhs will include a caller who explains the steps involved in each dance and keep you on track once the dance has started. This would offer the opportunity for the wider community to engage in arts and music activities not available locally, and for some to try something new, whilst making new friends and acquaintances. All ages and abilities would be welcome and encouraged including disadvantaged groups.
